Biography
Dr. Francesco Ria has done his MD and PhD in Oncology from Catholic University Rome in 1990. He was also a Visiting Scientist in Roche Milano Ricerche – L. Adorini H.S. Raffaele – Milano and La Jolla Institue for Allergy and Immunology – E.E. Sercarz San Diego (CA) USA, from 1993 - 2001. His previous position was a Researcher in Catholic University – Rome from 1994 2004. At present he is working as Associate Professor Immunopathology - School of Medicine in Università Cattolica del S. Cuore, L.go F. Vito, 1 Roma.
Research Interest
Identification and recruitment of T cells ex vivo in Rheumatoid Arthritis, Myastenia Gravis, Multiple Sclerosis and experimental models. Role of bacteria and Pathogen Receptors in human and experimental autoimmunity.
